Selection of Laundry Equipment for Large Hotel Laundries

Washing equipment is essential machinery for large hotel laundries. For the laundry of linens in large-scale hotel laundries like this, we recommend using a washing tunnel or an integrated washing system. When a large hotel laundry is equipped with a washing tunnel, it should also be paired with standalone machines, such as through-type dryers. Meanwhile, a press-and-dehydration machine is only required if the laundry facility includes a washing tunnel.

Through-type drying equipment is designed to remove residual moisture from towel fabrics that have undergone dehydration. If a hotel laundry facility is equipped with a washing tunnel, it will also require both through-type dryers and fully automatic dryers.
Post-processing equipment includes fabric feeders, spreading machines, ironing machines, and folding machines. Since this is a large-scale hotel laundry facility, we recommend equipping all four types of post-processing equipment to maximize operational efficiency. Efficiency is particularly critical for large-scale laundry operations.
The spreading machines come in three- and four-station models, with the former being more efficient than the latter. Among the ironing machines, the trough-type iron is currently considered highly efficient, while the conventional steam roller iron remains widely used. As for folding equipment, at least one set of bed sheet and duvet cover folding machines should be provided. Additionally, towel-folding machines can be selected based on the specific needs and conditions of the laundry facility.
